THE NEW MEDIA and E-LEARNING EDGE sign strategic partnership, launches Digital Marketing Jobs Board

Quezon City, Philippines – E-Learning Edge Inc. on June 18, inked a strategic partnership with The New Media (www.TheNewMedia.com) to push Digital Marketing education and training in the country. In the agreement The New Media will actively participate in the formulation, execution, and marketing of the various programs and workshops of E-Learning Edge. The partnership will also allow The New Media access to the vast multimedia library of content that E-Learning Edge has for their site.

“The demand for digital talent is so high in the Philippines and the current pool isn’t meeting it. This partnership will definitely help in creating more awareness about the industry and get more people trained and equipped with Digital Marketing skills.” said Hans Roxas-Chua, President and CEO of E-Learning Edge Inc.

Other than the content sharing and marketing, the two will also co-develop services for the Digital Marketing industry in the Philippines. Their first project, the New Media Digital Marketing Jobs Board, is a specialized online job posting site featuring digital marketing opportunities from different companies. The program has already generated over 500 applications to date. Some of the companies that have posted their openings in the board include Smart Communications, Sun Cellular, Leo Burnett, Tribal DDB, Snapworx, and Media Contacts.

Companies who are looking to hire digital marketing talent can list their openings for free at the jobs board (http://thenewmedia.com/job-board/).

“We look forward to creating more joint projects with E-Learning Edge. The New Media Jobs Board is still young but it has already made a significant impact in the industry.” said Carlo Ople, Editor-in-Chief of The New Media.
