Paskong RH – RH Law Now! #RHBill

Legazpi city – The Purple Ribbon for RH Campaign continues its month long initiative entitled “Paskong RH – RH Law Now!” via the regional launch in Albay Astrodome in partnership with the Province of Albay during the World AIDS day activity urging Congress to pass the RH Bill before Christmas.

Key personalities headed by Vice Governor Harold Imperial; Board Member Glenda Ong Bongao; Mayor Jaime Villanueva; Mayor Che Sampal; Mayor Carlos Baldo; and other local officials gathered in one event to show their support for the RH bill.

“We call on everyone to show your support for this campaign. We call on the President and the leaders of Congress and Senate to VOTE and PASS the RH BILL. Passing the RH BILL is a significant gift you can give to the Filipino people this year,” Dr. Eden R. Divinagracia, Executive Director of PNGOC said.

Lead Convenor Esperanza I. Cabral, MD, of the Purple Ribbon for RH said: We are aware that with only 12 session days, time is very limited. With the election campaign fever just around the corner, we appeal to our Congressmen to attend the sessions and assure a quorum for Congress to be able to put the RH bill into a vote.
