Honasan on the FOI Bill , the Senate Bill 3208 or POGI Act of 2012

Sen. Honasan sponsored the Freedom of Information (FOI) bill or the People’s Ownership of Government Information (POGI) Act of 2012. The general principles on FOI have been declared by the United Nations and international treaties but national laws have to be adopted so citizens can exercise right. A total of 22 of 23 senators endorsed the committee report . Sen. Honasan expects smooth passage. Here is Senate Bill 3208 or the POGI bill.
