Minimize the greed? Here is a partial list of SM Properties

Presenting a partial list of SM properties. A year ago, I posed a question on twitter on SM expansion plans and the reactions were already negative. One said “sa dami ng SM Malls, sooner or later, we’re neighbors. Back-to-back with SM Condominiums.”

According to Interaksyon, their first quarter profit increased , up by 33% to P1.21B from P0.92B in 2011. Real estate operations yielded P1.14 B, 22% higher from a year ago.

It is not the expansion that bothers the tweeps but the way they handle the communities and the environment. Check the list first then read the twitter discussion.

Anything to add?

A year ago, I posted a tweet for an article on SM expansion plans. “The mayor and the citizens where SM malls will be built should ask themselves if the SM malls will bring long range benefit to their economy”. The discussion ran for 3 hours. Read through the tweets of ordinary customers and a tenant.
