Contact the Senators about the #RHBill. Here is a list
The Reproductive Health Bill is too close to call. Indeed, the battle lines are drawn and so far the scores are pretty even”. A large number of senators are still “keeping their cards close to their chest as to whether they would support the reproductive health bill or not.”
We need to communicate our stand about the RH Bill. There are 23 senators right now. Senator Joker Arroyo said the “number of “undecided” senators—himself included—remained significant enough to determine the fate of Senate Bill No. 2865.”
What seems to be happening is “nobody is talking, but everybody is listening”.
Majority Leader Vicente Sotto III agreed that the senators favoring the bill and those against it were even so far.
Those that are supporting the RH BIll are at least five senators.
1. Miriam Defensor-Santiago,
2. Pia Cayetano,
3. Panfilo Lacson
4. Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
5. Chiz Escudero
6. Francis Pangilinan (with amendments)
Those against the RH Bill are
1. Juan Ponce Enrile,
2. Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada,
3. Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III,
4. Tito Sotto,
5. Manny Villar
Undecided so far are 12 senators
1. Ralph Recto
2. Franklin Drilon
3. Loren Legarda
4. Alan Peter Cayetano
5. Edgardo Angara
6. Joker Arroyo
7. TG Guingona
