Only two batches of maggi noodles, Beef, were found positive of “traces of Salmonella: . My source said that Nestle decided on a TOTAL recall because they wanted to be true to their Good food, good life corporate belief.

Two batches of Maggi Rich Mami Noodles, beef flavor, were found to have traces of salmonella, namely 11020598A2 and 11030598A1, and Nestle advised consumers who may have bought them to immediately call its hotlines.

Nestle also said it has stopped production of Maggi Rich Mami Noodles pending the completion of its investigation.

Such a recall is a financial blow to Nestle but because they believe in walking the talk, the consumers’ health and well-being is more important than profits. It seems Nestle is not too bothered that they will lose a lot. I believe that consumers welfare should always be a primary concern.
