“We are both so delighted that you are able to join us in celebrating what we hope will be one of the happiest days of our lives. The affection shown to us by so many people during our engagement has been incredibly moving, and has touched us both deeply. We would live to take this opportunity to thank everyone most sincerely for their kindness.” , statement from Kate and William.

The media frenzy on the Royal Wedding is just too much. Even a survey says so. Pew Research Center says 64 percent of Americans surveyed thought the news media were giving too much coverage to the Royal Wedding. 25 percent said the wedding got the right amount of coverage, and 4 percent said the wedding had gotten too little coverage. Pew interviewed 1,001 adults across the country.

While everyone else is busy with this Royal Wedding coverage, I will just curate the twitter reactions as it goes live.

In the meantime, here is BBC Breakfast compilation on the best bits of the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton
