#ZeroHIVinPH : Bloggers’ Forum on the Expanding Epidemic of HIV in the Philippines on Dec 7 11am-1PM

Blog Watch is co-organizing a “Bloggers forum on the Expanding Epidemic of HIV in the Philippines” together with the Philippine Legislators’ Committee on Population and Development (PLCPD) and the Office of Kabataan Partylist – Rep. Raymond Palatino with support from the UNFPA and Joint United Nations Programme on HIV-AIDS (UN AIDS) .

We will discuss the expanding epidemic of HIV in the Philippines. Records from the national Epidemiology Center of the Department of Health say that there is a 587% increase in HIV cases from 2006 to present. This number increases at a rate of 1 in every 2 1/2 hours.

Where: The Old Spaghetti House, UP-Ayala Land Techno Hub, Quezon City

There will be three resource persons: one from Department of Health, one from UNAIDS and one from the Kabataan Partylist
