It’s no news that the media space is in a state of rapid change, evolution, and disruption. The Future of Media, a collaboration of Blog Watch, Philippine Online Chronicles and Vibal Group, is designed as a collaborative forum that will discuss the current practices, lay out demands for future strategies, and identify future trends for the business of media.

Conference Objectives:

1. To explore what’s happening in the media and predict what’s to come in a highly mobile, digital future.
2. To identify how today’s end-users utilize the different media channels and what other user experiences they wish to enjoy.
3. Present case studies and best practices that can be shared by media organizations in each or across different platforms.
4. Identify new techniques for creating and distributing content, new tools for content discovery, and new business models to sustain the information and storytelling that we rely on.
5. Explore the companies and technologies entering the scene, how existing and new players are reacting, and what the future of journalism will look like.
