Pope sends his first tweet via iPad
The pope has launched a new Vatican website with his iPad, which included a video from ROME REPORTS. It’s a way to celebrate his 60th ordination anniversary and also to keep up to date with technology. The tablet received by the pope, includes a short video done by this agency.
Benedict XVI has sent his first tweet to announce the launch of the new Vatican website news.va.
This is the first tweet made by a pope (via @news_va_en), saying: “Dear Friends, I just launched News.va Praised be our Lord Jesus Christ! With my prayers and blessings, Benedictus XVI.”
The pope also chose to make his first published tweet in English.
